Those of us in the trenches could give multiple answers to the question - Why?   The answers would all likely range from 'exposure', to  'charity', to 'why not?'  There is no one reason that any of us could give for the strange compulsion we have to perform and entertain.   The various styles, lyrical content, and social/political agendas of artists are painted on the airwaves for as many reasons as there are sounds.

As different as those reasons and sounds may seem on the surface, there is a common thread running through all involved.  The joy of rocking out.  Somehow the look in the eyes of a satisfied customer at the business end of a Marshall stack just can't be beat.  We know not all of us will be Platinum album selling mega-stars.  We know we may not be on the cover of the Rolling Stone.             We also know that you have to start somewhere.

OK enough drama - here's the bottom line -

You have seen some local bands before.  You have seen multi-band festivals before.  What you have not seen is a true spectrum of the local  Phoenix talent displayed for your entertainment pleasure.  We are preparing for you a smorgasbord of audio flavor -  conveniently wrapped in hopes, dreams, aspirations, and good will.  Yes, we want to promote our bands.  Yes we plan to donate proceeds to charities that foster healing and growth through music.  Yes we want to bring local artists together to inspire communication and evolution.  And YES we want to ROCK!
